"GO MONGOLIA" EVENT SUCCESSFULLY HELD IN SEOUL, REPUBLIC OF KOREA

The Government of Mongolia has designated 2023-2025 as the "Years to Visit Mongolia," aiming to promote the country internationally under the national branding "Go Mongolia." The initiative was first introduced during the 54th World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and recently showcased in Seoul, the Republic of Korea. Prime Minister of Mongolia, L. Oyun-Erdene, alongside members of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, business leaders, and representatives from various sectors including culture, arts, and science, participated in the event.

The Republic of Korea holds a special significance for Mongolia as not only its third neighbor but also a key partner in expanding cooperation across all levels. With a substantial portion of Mongolia's tourists originating from ROC—21 percent of over 650,000 visitors last year—the government sees immense potential in promoting Mongolia through the "Go Mongolia" branding in the country. This strategic promotion aims to attract tourists, investors, and foster multilateral cooperation.

Under the branding of "Go Mongolia: MonGOlia, Always Moving," the essence of Mongolia is encapsulated, reflecting its aspirational spirit within contemporary society. Internationally, phrases like "Visit Mongolia and experience the new" and "Go to Mongolia and discover unique opportunities" embody a compelling branding strategy that encompasses a wide range of experiences to promote the country's tourism industry.
